Ostseebad Binz – now it is official: The Private Palace Grand Hotel Binz on the island of Rügen will continue to bear the five-star rating of the German Hotel and Restaurant Association (DEHOGA) over the next three years. On Monday, Uwe Linneck, Office Manager (DEHOGA) in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, handed the plaque to Hotel Director Markus Wölflik. “Five stars mean top service at the highest level – that is exactly what we claim. We have fulfilled the decatering requirements with flying colours and beyond, “declared Markus Wölflik, who runs the luxury hotel directly on the Baltic Sea Beach in Binz since June 2012.

 

The 45-year-old praised the entire team at the presentation of the decatering plaque: “The Grand Hotel Binz is one of the flagships of our Private Palace Hotel Group – The guests always expect something special. That is what we wanted. This would not be possible without the commitment and consistent service orientation of the employees. The management company ‘ Private Palace Hotels & Resorts ‘ plays an important leading role in this. ”

 

This year the Private Palace Grand Hotel Binz celebrates its 10th birthday. “For us, the five-star plaque is a premature gift – we understand the award as an incentive to continue offering our guests the perfect Baltic holiday.” Since the Kempinski group has abandoned hotel management, the operating results have been steadily and steeply improved.

 

The Private Palace Grand Hotel Binz is the only hotel in Germany that offers several Ayurvedic treatments. Two Indian specialists take care of and advise the guests. The Thai Bali Spa is considered to be the best of its kind in Europe – it was awarded the World Hotel Award in the year 2009. In addition, the luxury house on the beach offers very large double rooms – between 36 and 45 square meters. The 127 rooms – including 5 suites – all have a balcony or terrace.

 

“For us, service means, for example, that we offer our guests ten different types of milk as well as egg and coffee specialities à la carte for breakfast. A welcome cocktail with a presentation round is held daily for our guests, ” explained Markus Wölflik. “In addition, our guests can choose from a pillow menu à la carte. Clearly, we offer top-class Rügen holidays. ”

 

Dog lovers are welcome with their four-legged favourites at the Private Palace Grand Hotel Binz – there is a dog beach nearby. The 5-Star Hotel also offers a dog menu card.
