Booking.com draws Rugard Strandhotel, Grand Hotel Binz and the Arkona Strandresidenzen in Binz on the island of Rügen

Now it’s official: The Private Palace Grand Hotel Binz on the island of Rügen will continue to bear the five-star rating of the German Hotel and Restaurant Association (DEHOGA) for the next three years. On Monday, Uwe Linneck, DEHOGA office manager in Mecklenburg-West Pomerania, handed over the badge to Hotel Director Markus Wölflik. “Five stars mean top service at the highest level – that is exactly what we aspire to. We met the DEHOGA requirements with flying colors and beyond, ”said Markus Wölflik, who has headed the luxury hotel directly on the Baltic Sea beach in Binz since June 2012.

At the presentation of the DEHOGA badge, the 45-year-old praised the entire team: “The Grand Hotel Binz is one of the flagships of our Private Palace hotel group – guests always expect something special. That’s how we wanted it. Without the dedication and consistent service orientation of the employees, this would not be possible. The management company ‘Private Palace Hotels & Resorts’ plays an important leadership role. “

The Private Palace Grand Hotel Binz is celebrating its tenth birthday this year. “For us, the five-star badge is an early gift – we see the award as an incentive to continue to offer our guests the perfect Baltic vacation.” Since the Kempinski Group gave up hotel management, the operating results have been steady and steep improved.

The Private Palace Grand Hotel Binz is the only hotel in Germany that offers several Ayurveda treatments. Two Indian specialists look after and advise the guests. The Thai Bali Spa is considered the best of its kind in Europe – it was awarded the World Hotel Award in 2009. In addition, the luxury house on the beach offers very large double rooms – between 36 and 45 square meters. The 127 rooms – including five suites – all have a balcony or terrace.

“For us, service means, for example, that we offer our guests ten different types of milk as well as egg and coffee specialties à la carte for breakfast. A welcome cocktail with a round of introductions takes place for our guests every day, ”explained Markus Wölflik. “In addition, our guests can choose from an à la carte pillow menu. Beauty24 Wellness Award 2013

Wellness customers have decided on beauty24.de, the Grand Hotel Binz receives the audience award and is therefore the best German wellness hotel

For the sixth time in a row, the wellness tour operator beauty24 awards the Wellness Award at the world’s largest tourism and travel fair ITB in Berlin. This year the popular audience award goes to the Grand Hotel Binz on Rügen. Of the more than 650 beauty24 partner hotels, the Rügen hotel received the best guest reviews in the

last year. All evaluations that were assigned in the hotel categories of location, service, wellness and catering were included in the evaluation. In the meantime, over 18,000 hotel reviews can be found at beauty24. The Wellness Award 2013 will be presented on the opening day of the ITB in Berlin by beauty24 managing director Roland Fricke to the hotel representatives at the beauty24 stand in wellness hall 16.

“The guests alone determine who receives the award for the best wellness hotel in Germany. Since the evaluations can only be made by the actual hotel visitors, manipulation of the result is impossible, ”says Roland Fricke. “This rating system is what makes the beauty24 Wellness Award so special.”
